Matt Jones Class: Sophomore Hometown: Overland Park, Kan. High School: Rockhurst Height: 6-2 Event: Freestyle Experience: SQ

At Wyoming: Freshman- As a freshman, Jones added depth to the Cowboy freestyle, especially the distance events.

High School: Jones helped lead Rockhurst High School to the Missouri State Championship in both 2005 and 2006. He was an All-State and All-Metro selection from 2002-06. He is the Rockhurst High record holder in the 200 and 500 freestyles and 400 freestyle relay. He lettered all four years of high school. He was a great student and was on the Magnis Honor Roll, graduated from honors school and was a National Honor Society member.

Personal: He was born on July 7, 1987 in Kansas City, Mo. He is the son of Louisa and has a younger sister, Allison. He is majoring in business administration.
