High School: Murdock is both an accomplished diver and gymnast and competed in the US National gymnastics meet in the spring of 2007. In the pool, he was a district champion and the district diver of the year as a junior and senior. He was also a region champion as a senior and placed third at regionals as a junior. He received an NISCA All-America Award and was a TISCA All-State diver as a junior. He was the Marcus High School most valuable diver all four years of his career. He placed third at the district meet as a freshman and sophomore. He was a member of the National Art Honor Society. He dove club for Grapevine Colleyville. Personal: He was born on June 7, 1989 in Grapevine, Texas. He is the son of Julie and Rob and has two brothers, Michael and Matthew. He is undecided on a college major. |
