For the Wyoming swimming and diving team, the 2007-08 season was a very special one. After both the Cowboys and Cowgirls finished third in the regular season Mountain West Conference standings, both teams completed the most successful run in school history at the 2008 MWC Championships in Oklahoma City, Okla.

The Cowboys swam to a third place finish, finishing only 13.5 points behind BYU, and the Cowgirls placed fourth, only 4.5 points behind Utah. Both of those finishes tie the best in school history. Each team also scored the most points in school history at the conference championships.

At the championship meet, Wyoming won four individual conference championships, won two MWC coach of the year awards, broke 15 school records, had 45 performances that rank in the top-five all-time at UW and saw 20 athletes earn all-conference accolades.

Take a look at Wyoming's spectacular run through the conference championships in this photo gallery.
