Erin Heffron Class: Sophomore Hometown: Alta, Wyoming High School: Teton Height: 5-6 Event: Distance

Will enter her second season with the Cowgirl cross country team and has worked hard in the off-season to improve. She participated in five of six competitions during the fall of 2006. Her best finish was 32nd at the Wyoming Invitational (9/1/06), finishing with a time of 16:50. Her best time in the 6K was 25:22.9 at the NCAA Mountain Regionals. An Academic All-MWC selection for the first time in her career. In high school, she placed at the state cross country meet all four years while attending Teton High School. She was selected team captain her senior season. A three-time district champion in cross country, Erin was also a state qualifier in the 4x400m relay, 800m and 3200m races for her track and field team.
