Miller comes to Wyoming after a very highly decorated career while attending Kelvin High School in Winnipeg, Canada. He will compete in several events and contribute to the team right away. He was a four-time Cross Country Athlete of the Year, while earning the Outdoor Track and Athlete of the Year in 2006. This past year, he was a member of the Canadian Junior National Cross Country Team and the Canadian Junior National NACAC Cross Country Team. He was the National Champion in the 2,000 meter steeple chase at the Chase Legion 17 and under National Track and Field Championships in 2006. Miller helped his team to Provincial Cross Country Championships in 2005 and 2006 and the Outdoor High School Track and Field Provincial Championship in 2006. Besides track and cross country, he also earned several awards in water polo.
