2007-08 (Senior): Zac Fisher is a blue-collar player with tremendous ability. He is the only upperclassman on the Wyoming Cowboy roster. Zac gained some NCAA Division I golf experience over the past two fall seasons and has the potential to be an important contributor to the UW team this spring. Fisher had a tough fall in '07 and will need to lower his scores in order to regain a traveling spot on the Cowboy team. Zac's best round of the fall was a 74 at the Kansas Invitational, where he also had his best finish, 53rd of 91 individuals. He played five of seven fall tournaments for Wyoming.

2006-07 (Junior): Fisher transferred to UW from Hutchinson Community College. In the fall semester he contributed some good rounds to the Cowboy team score and had the third best stroke average on the squad, 75.33. Zac's best round was a 71 at the AFA Falcon Invite, and his best finish was 31st at Purple/Red Invitational. He played all six fall tournaments for the Cowboys, but did not participate during the spring due to eligibility issues.

2004-06 (Sophomore & Freshman): Fisher spent two years at Hutchinson CC in Hutchinson, Kan., where he was the Jayhawk Conference Champion in 2004-05 and a two-time First Team All-Conference selection. He helped lead his team to the conference championship in 2005-06. In his two years at Hutchinson CC, Fisher was ranked nationally in the NJCAA top 20 each year, as well as winning medalist honors at three tournaments. His coach was Chris Young.

High School: Zac graduated from Torrington High School in 2004 where he was runner-up at the state tournament as a senior. Fisher was named All-Conference all four years of high school and All-State twice. He was a member of Wyoming's Junior America's Cup Team.

Personal: Zac was born Jan. 21, 1986 in Scottsbluff, Neb. He is the son of Jim and Marilyn Fisher and has a younger sister, Carly. Fisher is majoring in physical education teaching at UW.
