This Season... Will look to get his first West Regional title and a trip to NCAA Nationals as he enters his fourth consecutive year as the starter at 125 pounds. 2004-05... Posted a record of 15 wins and 14 losses with two of the vicories by pin and tied for second on the team with three by major decision. Placed fourth at the West Regional. 2003-2004... Ended the season with a 14- match win streak before an untimely freak injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season. He would end his season with an impressive 20 win and three loss record that included one pin and a team-high of five major decisions. His major victory came when he upset the #1 ranked wrestler in the nation at 125 pounds, Jason Powell of Nebraska, 3-1. Earned a second place finish at the Cowboy Open and a fifth-place finish at the Nebraska-Omaha Open. 2002-2003... In his first season in the lineup collected 19 wins, losing 14. Recorded one pin and one major decision. Placed fourth at the Nebraska- Omaha Open. 2001-2002... In his redshirt season collected a 14-9 tournament record with one pin and two major decisions highlighted by a third place finish at the Dickenson State Classic. High School... A two-time All-State selection and a three-time All-Conference selection. Was honorable mention All-American his senior year. Also lettered in football his junior and senior seasons. Personal...
