This Season...Returns as the starter at 133 pounds. Brings experience and leadership to the team and will look to compete for a West Regional Championship. 2004- 05... Started the entire year for the Pokes at 133 pounds. Finished the year with an overall record of 11 wins and nine losses with one of those wins by technical fall and another three by major decision. Ended the year strong with a third place finish at the West Regional. 2003-2004... Finished the season with a record of 14 wins and 15 losses including two major decisions. Placed fourth in the 2003 West Regional. 2002-2003... Improved throughout the season to earn 14 wins and 10 losses. Won one match by pin and three by major decision. Suffered an injury at the 2003 West Regional Tournament, forcing him to finish fourth. Highlight of the season was a 8-4 decision over Jarred Berger of Nebraska. 2001- 2002... Finished his redshirt season with a 10-7 tournament record highlighted by a fourth place finish at the Brand Open in Omaha, Neb. Recorded one pin, one technical fall and two major decisions. High School... A two-time Wyoming state champion as a junior and senior. Was staterunner up his sophomore year. Earned All-State honors twice and All-Conference honors three times.
