This Season...A three year starter that brings a lot of experience to the line-up. Has yet to use his redshirt and may use it this year to move up to 197 pounds next year. 2004-05... Went 17-9 last season with one pin and three major decisions. Was the 184 pound champion at the Cowboy Open. At one point during the season enjoyed a ten match winning streak. 2003-2004... Won the West Regional title at 184 pounds and made his first trip to the NCAA Championships. He would finish the season with a record of 17 wins and 15 losses along with one pin and three major decisions. Placed second at the Cowboy Open and had a 3-1 decision over Boise State's Casey Phelps. 2002-2003... As a true freshman, was the Cowboys' starter at 184 pounds all season. Finished the season with a 13- 16 record collecting one pin and three major decisions. Took third place at Cowboy Open. High School... Won back to back Montana state titles his junior and senior seasons in the 189 pound weight class. During that span complied a record of 65-5. A two-time Montana freestyle champion, placed fourth at the Fila Cadet National in Chicago, Ill., earning All-American honors. Also earned All-State honors in football playing tackle. Personal...
