2006: Lathrop started 16 games for the Cowgirls and scored one goal and had one assist as a sophomore. She missed three games early in the season due to an injury, but came back and played an important role for the Cowgirls late in the season. Lathrop had the game winning assist to defeat UNLV 1-0 and clinch a berth into the MWC Championships. At the MWC Tournament, she was named to the All-Tournament team. Lathrop also excelled in the classroom by being named to the MWC Academic All-Conference team for the second straight year. As a member of the Colorado Rush U-19 club program, she won the U.S. Soccer National Club Championship in the summmer of 2006.

2005: Lathrop had an outstanding freshman year as she started all 19 games, scored four goals, dished out four assists and had two game winning goals. She was a staple in the Cowgirl attack as she either scored a goal or had an assist on 34 percent of the Cowgirls goals. She scored game winning goals against both South Dakota State and Air Force and had an assist on game winning goals against Northeastern and TCU. She led the Cowgirls in assists (4) and was third on the team in goals (4). Her four assists tied for the eighth most in the Mountain West Conference. She had the highest shot percentage (.250) and shots on goal percentage (.688) on the team. She excelled in the classroom and was named Academic All-Conference.

High School: Lathrop was a four-time letterwinner in soccer and a four year member of the Green Mountain honor roll. She was a team captain her senior year and was named 5A All-State and All-Conference following both her junior and senior seasons. She played on the 2002 and 2004 conference championship teams. Green Mountain advanced to the state finals in 2003, semifinals in 2004 and quarterfinals in 2002. She played club soccer for the Colorado Rush, winning five state championships.

Personal: She was born March 25, 1987 in Wheat Ridge, Colo. She is the daughter of Pam and Darrel and has two older sisters, Kristi and Stephanie, and an older brother, Marcus. She is majoring in criminal justice.
